3D site model
Built from 856 overlapping drone photos. Orbit the yard, walk it at eye height, or fly the survey path. Labels mark every measured stockpile and machine. Click one for details.
Overview
What this survey tells the site and the business, in plain language. Each finding links to the evidence.
Insight playbook
The insights that change decisions on a building site, from the dig to handover. Live modules are measured on this site from the imagery analysed so far; partial ones have first numbers; templates show the method and the one input they are waiting for.
Map
2 cm orthomosaic and surface layers. Click a stockpile or machine, measure distances and areas, or draw a cross-section through any pile.
Stockpiles
Every stockpile inside the site boundary, measured from the 3D surface against a base plane fitted to its toe. Machines standing on piles are removed from the surface first.
Volume by material
Material is classified from colour and texture in the orthomosaic and checked visually. Tonnes = volume × indicative loose bulk density (shown in the table). Confirm with weighbridge data for payment.
Height vs face steepness
Each dot is a stockpile. Top-right: tall piles with steep faces, the highest slump risk for people and plant working the toe. Dashed line: 40°.
| Pile | Material | Volume m³ | Tonnes | Footprint m² | Height m | Face ° | To boundary m |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Plant on site
Every machine visible in the 2 cm orthomosaic at capture time, identified by an analyst. Status is what the machine was doing in the survey, a single snapshot.
Surfaces & risk
What the ground inside the boundary is made of, and what that means for dust, sediment, safety and space.
Surface cover
Classified per 10 cm pixel from colour, texture and height above ground. Use as an indication; "bare / disturbed" includes compacted but untreated working areas.

Bulk densities used
Loose stockpile densities, indicative only. Replace with site-measured values (weighbridge loads ÷ surveyed volume change) for payment-grade tonnage.
Method
Photogrammetry (WebODM/ODM) produced a 2 cm orthomosaic and surface model. We resampled to a 10 cm grid, estimated bare ground with a 24 m morphological filter, segmented raised bodies above 0.8 m, removed machines identified in the imagery and interpolated the surface beneath them, then measured each pile against a plane fitted to its toe. Volumes are typically within ±3–5% for well-defined piles; piles against walls or other piles carry more uncertainty.
